Small Works Show

Here is an 8"x8" oil that I will have in the Small Works Show. It is called "Warm Afternoon Light" and I  painted it at Winslow Park in Freeport a few months ago. The show is at Yarmouth Frame and Gallery and the reception is December 6th from 4 to 7. I hope to see you there!

Pastel Show


The pastel show opens Saturday in Saco, Maine. This is my contribution to the Pastel Painters of Maine 15th International Juried Exhibition for "Pastels Only".  The show is at the Saco Museum and runs from May 17th through June 14th. The closing reception is on June 14th from 5 to 7.

"First Impressions" Series

A new year seems like a good time to tackle my stack of unfinished paintings.  When on location I record my first impressions of a scene with watercolors.  Then I finish them back in the studio with gouache.  Once Spring arrives another stack will start to grow!
