Homegrown Exhibit

This painting is on exhibit at Skyline Farm from September 25 – December 4. Skyline Farm is having a benefit sale of fine art and crafts “inspired by Maine’s natural state”. The show is complemented by carriages and sleighs from Skyline Farm Carriage Museum’s collection. The farm is in North Yarmouth and is well worth visiting. www.skylinefarm.org

September on Monhegan Island

We returned today from a fun trip to Monhegan Island. I want to share this photo of the Monhegan School. Notice the dog sitting patiently by the door. I am quite sure the dog sat there the whole time that school was in session. There is a dog house to the right of the school. I hope to post some September paintings of Monhegan soon.

“I can still see my first dog. For six years he met me at the same place after school and convoyed me home – a service he thought up himself.”
